Celebration of Life

Life is about progression and elevation. None of us will remain where we are in life forever. Though there may be things that you would like to change, everything that has ever occurred in your life was intended for your greatness. The abuse may have been too much, the finances may not have been enough, and the heartbreak could have been too painful, and yet you made it through. Sometimes it is easier for us to wallow in our sorrow, wishing for things to be different, but we must recognize that everything in our lives has divine purpose and divine timing.

By maintaining our sense of control, we unconsciously create our own suffering. We then blame external factors for not being just and fair, when we are, in fact, unfair and unjust to ourselves. When we do not make conscious choices for the direction of our lives, life decides for us. If we chose to surrender to the Will of God, we do not have to experience being bullied by life. With sadness and depression or with grace and surrender, the choice is yours.

Your life has meaning and purpose. It may take days, months, or even years, but you will always progress to a new phase of your life. Elevation comes through our suffering. We experience difficult experiences in life to build our endurance, strength, and stamina. Stagnation is a choice, it is never an option. We may experience moments of fear and doubt, but we always have the choice to get up and keep on moving.

As we prepare to put the finishing touches on an amazing year, reflect back over your life and the many trials and tribulations that you have made it through. Relinquish control of any area of your life that you have refused to let go of. Your health, your career, your family, your friends, your life; turn it all over to the Higher Power. When you decide to submit instead of resist, great things align in the Universe. There is a shift in the atmosphere. Sit back and watch how your life unfolds, easily and effortlessly as God and the Universe conspires on your behalf.
